The hotel is unveiled to the public as the first Solís Hotels and Resorts destination to be introduced in the United States, a charge led by Swiss-based ACRON AG vis a vis its stateside affiliate ACRON USA, along with development team Castleton-Condra, LLC. The new hotel is managed under Solis Hotels and Resorts, a brand of Capella Hotel Group, joining the brand’s existing locations in China and Ireland.
“The Solís Two Porsche Drive team is honored to be a part of the rapid growth occurring in the ATL Airport District and excited to officially join the community, bringing Atlanta travelers and locals the elements that make Solís a type of destination hotel the city hasn’t seen before,” said general manager Mike Sutter. “We can’t wait for guests to join in our excitement as they experience the hotel, Apron and Overdrive Lounge.”
Featuring design and programming to appeal to style-savvy travelers, Solís Two Porsche Drive welcomes guests with personalized hospitality, maintaining an atmosphere of comfort and local flair at every turn. The hotel’s 214 guest rooms, including an impressive 18 executive suites, nine track-view suites and one presidential suite, are infused with subtle, motorsports-inspired interior design to complement that of its neighbor, the Porsche Experience Center, while creating a sophisticated, European vibe unique to Solís Hotels and Resorts.
Also key to Solís Two Porsche Drive’s appeal as an Atlanta destination are Apron and Overdrive Lounge, the hotel’s dynamic, in-house food and beverage concepts. Located on the first floor, Apron offers guests a personalized restaurant and bar experience with an inspired Mediterranean menu, developed by experienced executive chef Derrick Green. Centered around a spacious bar area, Apron delights guests with a variety of signature cocktails, an impressive wine list and local craft beer selections, in addition to a laid-back outdoor patio space. Panoramic views of the Porsche Experience Center driver development track and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport continue high above the patio at eighth-floor Overdrive Lounge, where guests can enjoy tableside service, hand-crafted cocktails and small plates, paired with the buzz of regularly scheduled entertainment.
Capitalizing on the appeal of a chic rooftop ambiance, guests and event planners in search of a distinctive event venue can reserve a separate event space on the eighth floor of the hotel, which contributes to a total of over 6,500 square feet of multi-use space within Solís Two Porsche Drive. The hotel also boasts an opulent 3,600 square-foot ballroom, ideal for wedding receptions, corporate events, conferences and more.
Solís Two Porsche Drive is proud to contribute to the continued development of the ATL Airport District, enhancing the drive toward a dynamic city center previously absent from the south side of Atlanta.
