Location, location, location also applies to the modern bride who is in search of the ultimate venue for her very special day. Now complete with a view to remember, Candlelight Ridge is a brand new wedding and special event venue that includes Hickory Hall, a 2,400-sq-ft canopied and open-air space on the edge of the ridge; and RidgeRose, a two-story, stone bridal cottage for pre-ceremony preparations. Hickory Hall is completed and construction on RidgeRose is on schedule. Interior plans for this stone bridal cottage include a wood-burning fireplace, champagne and coffee bar, wedding party amenities lounge on the first floor; and a private bride and mother-of-the-bride dressing area on the top floor. Overnight accommodations are available on property at Candlelight Forest including Sophie’s Roost and Le Petite Chateau, two charming livable tree homes; and This Old House, a mountain craftsman cottage with wrap-around porch. Candlelight Ridge is open and booking weddings and special events. Introductory rates, including complimentary valet parking, are available now through the final phase of construction.
“Candlelight Ridge – nestled inside the Candlelight Forest resort – was developed to showcase the four seasons with a spectacular view atop the wooded forest up toward Lookout Mountain’s highest peak,” explains John Tatum, owner and developer, Firefly Communities. “With this most picturesque vantage of High Point, the experience makes for a day to remember shared by the bride and groom and their family and friends.”
Candlelight Ridge is the second, full-service event venue at Candlelight Forest. Opened in 2015, The Homestead is the resort’s first wedding and event facility which has quickly become a preferred venue for brides from across the region including Chattanooga, Nashville, Birmingham and Atlanta.
